The federal government has failed the American people at the southern border since Joe Biden took office. Over 7 million illegal aliens have crossed into our country and it affects Tennessee in a great way.

Tennesseans have seen an increase in crime and human and drug trafficking, and Tennessee taxpayers had to pick up the bill.

I voted in the general assembly for three laws:

1. Give the Governor the greater authority to send the National Guard to the southern border.
2. When local law enforcement detains someone in the state of Tennessee the federal government must be informed.
3. The punishment for crimes broken by illegal aliens will be enhanced.
